An alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur, he has guided more than twenty thousand GATE/ESE aspirants in the last seven years from across India. At IIT-Kharagpur, he has been a silver medallist for the 2013 batch with 9.63 CGPA. He received the Roshan L Tayalia IIIE award for being adjudged to be the best student among all outgoing students of M. Tech. course for the academic year 2012-13 at IIT Kharagpur.
